Shootout for Shrinefest is this Saturday June 19th. It is going to be a great day. We have 5 bands competing for the chance to open up for Shrinefest 2010.

Each band will get 45 mins to convince the judges to pick them for Shrinefest. If you have a favorite band bring as many friends as you can. The more crowd participation the better chance your band has!!
It is only $5 a car load to get in. All proceeds go to support the Shrines Hospital for Children so it is a great cause.
The gates open at 12pm and the bands start at 2pm.
No Coolers please. P2 will be there will beer and wine and we will have a vendor with cokes, water and food!!

About Crosswind
The 5 members of Crosswind all grew up in Southwest Oklahoma playing music all of their lives until fate brought them all together within the last year. Their music is a high energy blend of rockin' Texas red dirt country. Every one of them have some rock n roll in their background as well as country in their roots. Then add the soulful-bluesy vocals & charisma on stage of Dave Halliburton & you have the awesome sounds of Crosswind. Their talents are also derived from being the best of friends having fun on & off the stage. They have so much excitement & energy that it pulls in the fans always yelling....one more song!

We have our Shootout winner. We are pleased to have Crosswind as our opening band at Shrinefest 2009. After seeing all the bands, talent and fans at Shootout for Shrinefest we are in store for a great Shrinefest this year.
We would like to thank everyone that participated in Shootout for Shrinefest. All the bands that submitted their demos, to all five bands that performed at Shootout for Shrinefest. We had a little issues with the weather and had to reschedule, but over all everything turned out to be a great day.
Our biggest thanks goes to everyone that came out to support the event. If you didn’t know, this was a fundraiser for Shriners Hospital for Children. All the proceeds from this event went to the Hospitals. Again, thank you for coming out and supporting this event.
Shootout for Shrinefest
Shootout for Shrinefest is an opportunity for local talent to compete for a chance to open up Shrinefest. Bands submit their Bio/Demo to the Shrinefest committee for review. Out of all the submissions 5 of the bands are chosen to Shootout for Shrinefest. The bands get 45 minutes to show what they have. They are then voted on and the winner opens the day at Shrinefest 2009!
The Shootout will be held at P2. It will be a great day of fun and everyone should come out and join us. There will be food vendors, drink specials, silent auction etc..

Shootout for Shrinefest is here. It will be May 16th at The Neon Spur. There will be five bands competing to play Shrinefest 2009. It is going to be a great day of good music. The day will end with last year’s Shrinefest Shootout winner Brazos Stone.
Shootout for Shrinefest will be a fundraiser for Shriners Hospitals for Children. Not only with it be a fantastic time it is for a good cause.

The time is here. We not have the top 3 bands for Shrinefest. We excited to have them part our of great festival.
